Denmark: Assistance in the choice of unit-link funds

Article Abstract:

Willis, the Danish company supplying insurance brokerage services, has entered into a co-operation deal with Kirstein Finansradgivning to offer consumers counseling regarding the choi se of unit-link funds. This co-operation stems from complaints by Danish consumers about the lack of counseling services available as regards organising their individual pension schemes. Willis is not the only insurance brokerage that offers this type of counseling. AON Denmark and Investigate have also joined forces to develop a tool that enables comparisons between various unit-link funds. This tool will be taken into use by the end of the year at the latest, according to AON director Jens Murrer.
