Denmark: Construction sector suffers from recession

The construction sector in Denmark has suffered most from the trade recession in the country. Construction companies reported the biggest drop in new orders in the past year.. This can be largely ascribed to the storm damages that generated additional orders to the construction sector over a limited period.

Denmark: Fund to support construction activities

Article Abstract:

Fonden RealDanmark, the biggest fund in Denmark, wants to support construction. For this purpose it aims to set aside a sum of DKr200mn a year. According to fund director Flemming Borreskov, the money could be used for all types of construction projects. RealDanmark has a capital of DKr20bn (US$2.4bn).
