DENMARK: WIND POWER MARKET TO STAGNATE

Article Abstract:

Demand for wind power generators in Denmark is expected to decline in the beginning of 2000, the paper writes. The reason behind this is uncertainty about the price of wind-based electricity owing to the energy reform. The Minister of Energy and the Environment, Svend Auken, refers to an analysis which will be published before Christmas. The analysis will focus on the organization and streamlining of trade with renewable energy.
