Denmark: Danish Crown and Swedish Meats to co-operate

Article Abstract:

Swedish Meats, the Swedish meat producer, has approached its Danish counterpart Danish Crown proposing co-operation, according to Danish Crown MD Kjeld Johannesen. Swedish Meats is already co-operating with Danish Crown in the field of research and breeding. According to sources near Swedish Meats and the Danish meat production trade, the parties are examining two to three new co-operation prospects between themselves. Danish Crown sales manager Jens Haven Christiansen says also that the company aims to expand outside of Denmark focusing on northern Europe, England, Germany and to a lesser extent France and the Benelux countries.
