Development of a measure to access quality management in certified firms

Article Abstract:

The theory of quality management is studied from different areas such as quality leaders, ideas, empirical research and formal evaluation models. The literature from these three points of views is reviewed in order to identify measures for change towards a quality culture, which can be empirically tested from the answers provided by those responsible for quality in 106 certified firms.

Team formation: matching quality supply and quality demand

Article Abstract:

Usage of combinatorial optimization for solving transportation problem of quantitative logistics is discussed. Aplication of this theory for human resource management, through optimal matching of quality supply and quality demand by sports clubs, is described.

A methodology for modeling inter-company supply chains and for evaluating a method of integrated product and process documentation

A simulation-based decision support system is developed to evaluate the benefits of integrated product and process documentation. The system is developed on the concept of supply chain operations reference-model.
