Diageo aims to beat system: U.K. group hopes to change way its liquors are sold in U.S

Diageo PLC is changing its method of selling liquor in the United States, through the use of 5-year distribution agreements and sophisticated marketing. A market share of 23% is now held by Diageo, after it gained control of Seagram 18 months ago.
