Dirty white collars

Article Abstract:

A PricewaterhouseCoopers' survey of Handelszeitung Top 500-listed companies, selected banks and insurers, which maintain foreign operations, showed that these multinational companies lose about 400 million Swiss francs annually through white-collar crime. Hence, forensic investigations division manager Gianfranco Mautone suggests that companies create reliable internal corporate control systems to stop this crime. He warns that this systems should be put in place because white collar crimes may get worse with globalization, European integration and growing use of the Internet.
