In an effort to maintain profit margins, pharmaceutical companies continued to increase prescription drug prices in 2007. Article discusses the topic of high health care costs in U.S. presidential campaigns, and the effects of high prices on consumers and the health care industry.

EU CourtEs top adviser backs drug discounters
