ESCORTS HEART INSTITUTE BEGINS SATELLITE CENTRE

Article Abstract:

Escorts Heart Institute has set up a satellite centre at the Kalra Hospital as part of its plan to provide easily available cardiac care in North India. A beeper system has been installed at the Kalra Hospital which is connected to the heart station at Escorts. Cost-effective diagnostic care and treatment support will be provided to patients in the west Delhi belt and adjacent areas in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. A helicopter service will soon start operating to transfer patients between the two hospitals in emergencies. (khr)
