EU launches extended probe of Google-DoubleClick deal

Article Abstract:

The antitrust regulator of the European Union is examining online search firm Google Inc.'s intent to buy Internet advertising company DoubleClick Inc. due to concerns that Google would gain significant dominance over the online advertising sector. The probe of the $3.1 bil deal has a deadline of April 2, 2008.

Computer Associates to buy Netegrity for $430 million

Computer Associates International Inc. has agreed to acquire Netegrity Inc. CA said it will pay $10.75 for each share of Netegrity, which is 39% more than Netegrity's Tuesday closing price of $7.75.
