EU says Deutsche Telekom must give rivals access

The European Commission has ruled that Deutsche Telekom AG must ensure that its competitors have access to its new high-speed broadband network. Deutsche Telekom has a 60% share of the broadband market in Germany.

U.S. rice prices are stunted by concerns of biotech controls

An accidental release of genetically modified rice has caused U.S. trading partners, including Japan and South Korea, to tighten controls on American rice. Prices of American rice have dropped as a result.
