Eco-efficiency analysis of power plants: an extension of data envelopment analysis

Article Abstract:

Several problems in the measurement and evaluation of eco-efficiency can be solved using data envelopment analysis (DEA) as the efficiency measurement tool. Two different approaches are proposed and used to evaluate the eco-efficiency and the emission reduction program of 24 power plants in a European country.
