Article Abstract:

The Spanish government is favourable to a law through which 20 new terrestrial digital tv networks could be created. A royal decree in the matter could be soon approved. Some five networks (named multiple networks) will be in hands of the already operative national TV networks. In fact, the government could award some multiple networks to a single operator in order to set up a digital TV platform. Other operators will bid for the concession of the remaining 15 networks.

Spanish group Bravo is reportedly planning to invest Pta 1,016mn in its facility in Ampuero where it produces injected aluminium starter motor casings. The facility in Ampuero operates under the names Mecanor; Bravo & Bippus (steel machined parts); Bravo-Fca.Moldes (moulds) and Inyecnor. The Bravo group re-locaated to the Cantabria region from Toledo in 1995 and has invested over Pta 2,400mn since then.
