End Singapore's hypocrisy, foster responsible ideas

Article Abstract:

Low quality opposition parties are responsible for the landslide victory of the People's Action Party of Singapore on November 3, 2001. The government claims to want more responsible rival parties, but the ruling party continues to woo voters with promises of improvements to public works by neighborhood and warnings that opposition-supported neighborhoods will lose public funding. The government's method of tabulating votes makes it possible to calculate how each neighborhood voted, allowing politicians to to reward their constituents or ignore the people who did not vote for them.
