Bracing for remote control

Article Abstract:

Beijing is putting into considerations a plan that would control the delivery of foreign broadcasting in the region. This would entail Beijing setting up a central system that would collect foreign satellite programs, rearrange the signals, and send them out to authorized viewers. This would make it easier to find who views foreign programming, and enforce the often ignored rules prohibiting the use of satellites to retrieve foreign signals.
