Remaking Bill Clinton - the comeback contortionist: can he hope to do it again?

Article Abstract:

Clinton is in the throes of a 'second transition' in view of the Republican Nov '94 landslide. Ethnic quotas in his cabinet and gays in the military were early '91 mistakes which continue to haunt him. He can only hope that the Congressional GOP fails to deliver tax cuts, and loses the middle class.

Article Abstract:

President Clinton's pre-election policies have become reminiscent of Japanese-style government. He has become reliant on the age-old Japanese method of having the private sector carry out government policies. This governing style is seen by Republicans as another way to disguise taxation.
