BOC agrees to joint takeover bid

Article Abstract:

BOC Group PLC has approved Air Liquide SA and Air Products & Chemicals Inc.'s joint takeover bid of 7.17 billion pound sterling (11 billion euros). The deal will make French-based Air Liquide the leading industrial gases company in the world. Air Products will become the second-ranked industrial gases firm as a result of the deal. The joint offer comes out to 14.60 euros per share.

Entrium sets ambitious goal for its IPO

Entrium Direct Bankers AG is hoping to raise as much as 212 million euros in its initial public offering (IPO). The IPO is expected to be one of the largest new offering on Frankfurt's Neuer Market in 1999.
