Ericsson, Merrill join Swedish firms to create fund

A fund has been created by Telefon AB L.M. Ericsson, Merrill Lynch and Co., and two Swedish holding companies, Investor AB and AB Industrivarden, for the purpose of investing $300 million (Euro336.2 million) in North American and European wireless-Web ventures.

EBay to collect tax, raise fees on European sites
