Eurofighter news seen lifting British Aerospace

Article Abstract:

British Aerospace PLC's stocks are expected to begin strongly on February 15, 1999 as a result of a report saying that the Eurofighter consortium has been contracted to build 80 aircraft for Greece. Greece is planning to order from 60 to 80 Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft for after the year 2005. The Eurofighter consortium consists of firms like Finmeccanica's Alenia unit and Daimler-Benz AG's aerospace unit.

Boeing agrees to big investment in Skybridge plan

Article Abstract:

Boeing has agreed to deploy more than 40 satellites for Skybridge LP, a European company that specializes in telecommunications. In addition to that, Boeing will become a substantial investor in the Skybridge satellite communications project. The launch agreement is believed to be worth over $500 million.
