Article Abstract:

Head N.V. executive Johan Eliasch has purchased approximately 400,000 acres of land in Brazil, and is planting trees that will act as carbon absorbers in an effort to mitigate global warming. Eliasch's project has drawn complaints from Brazil's officials and labor force, who are wary of outside control over the nation's natural resources.
