Clariant India Ltd (CIL) has posted a 22 percent increase in net profit to Rs3.68 crore during the third quarter of 1998-99 (Rs3.01 crore during the third quarter of 1997-98). CIL also posted a three percent rise in its turnover to Rs60.25 crore (Rs58.45 crore). It earned most of its local sales from textile chemicals. (ag)(vr)
