The Bellot company has introduced a lemonade produced on a small scale, which contains natural lemon flavouring, lime peel, blood orange, carbonated water, and honey. The addition of honey makes this lemonade a stimulating beverage for athletes. It is priced at FFr 12 for a 75 cl bottle. This product has a two-year shelf life at room temperature.

Article Abstract:

Moulin de Valdonne is pursuing its niche strategy on the room temperature fruit juice market. It is going to add an apple-quince variety to its Provence et Tradition line in March 2001. Moulin de Valdonne will also add a strawberry nectar to its line of organic fruit juices, which has represented 40% of the fruit juice activity in less than a year. Moulin de Valdonne intends to recruit new consumers in the 35 to 49 age range on the syrup market, and it is going to launch a new line.
