FRANCE: REGALETTE INTRODUCES MENU CREPERIE

Regalette, Breton food company, has introduced Menu Creperie in the ready foods department. This is a two product line of real take-away meals. The tray of two crepes, one savoury and one week comes with knife and fork, and is priced at about FFr 28-FFr 29. One of the varieties is a crepe with egg and bacon bits and a nougat-almond crepe, and the second is a buckwheat pancake with ham and mushrooms, and a pear-chocolate crepe.

FRANCE: MENU FRAICHEUR FROM BARRAL

Article Abstract:

Barral has introduced Menu Fraicheur, a line of full meals presented on a tray with tray with three compartments. This meal consists of an entree, meat, and a dessert. Menu Fraicheur comes in six varieties. Each meal tray comes with a napkin and a fork. These products are priced at FFr 35 for a 400 gram tray, which has a 12-day shelf life.

FRANCE: CUISINE OCEANE'S LINE OF READY MEALS

Article Abstract:

The Gendreau company has introduced a line of five fish-based ready meals under the Cuisine Oceane brand. These dishes are packaged in 300-gram trays with two compartments: one for the fish and sauce and one for the starch. These trays can be heated in a double boiler or in a microwave oven.
