Fine today, rain tomorrow?

Article Abstract:

All indicators point to the UK benefitting from a positive economic forecast going into the 21st century, although overcontrolled regulation of the work force and the possible threat of the Year 2000 Millennium Bug could bring the economy to a slow halt. Fears of an economic boom should not be taken too seriously as average rates of growth and rising interests rates will slow the economy down enough to prevent over heating and the possible bust scenario which follows traditional boom periods.
