Business Partners is an unlisted public company, which has R70 million invested in about 200 small to medium size fishing industry companies. It only buys the shareholding but wants nothing in the supply and management. It is providing capital for companies operating decked boats, processing plants and fish exporters. It charges moderate rates of interest on loans.
