The designer Hussein Chalayan's first shop, a surprisingly European-feeling Neo-classical building in the Daikanyama area of Tokyo, has been given a narrative edge to a cool interior by the Block Architecture. The design of the shop, display of Chalayan's wares and floor plan are discussed.
