Alaska cod fishery first to win eco-tag

The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) has awarded certification to Alaska's Pacific cod fishery for good product management practices. Canada's Bering Select Seafoods Co. will sell this cod-fish on MSC labels.

Saithe fishery for MSC certification

Article Abstract:

The Norwegian saithe is seeking Marine Stewardship Council's certification for sustainable and well-managed fisheries. If certified it will be the first Nordic fishery to get licensed from MSC.
