Antomio Martinez, sales manager of Santymar and Skipper Mignel Pouseu of the Falklands trawler Igueldo are working together with an aim to develop more efficient gear that is lighter to tow, so that fuel consumption is low. With rising fuel prices and decreasing fish rates, it has become necessary to look at new ideas.
