Founder of Cortecs challenges claim he resigned voluntarily

Article Abstract:

Cortecs PLC founder and former Chairman Glen Travers has disputed the company's claims that he resigned from his post as chairman under his own free will. Travers claimed in a statement issued through his lawyer that he was asked to resign right before a regular meeting of the Cortecs board, but he declined to make a quick decision and he requested for time to refer the matter with his legal advisers. However, the board already issued a press release announcing his resignation before he could even present his decision to the Cortecs board. Travers, who remains a director of the UK-based biotech company, wanted for a speedy settlement of the dispute over his so-called resignation.
