Article Abstract:

Frozen vegetables have a 20.8% share of the frozen food market and sales are expected to rise by 7.2% by the year 2001, with the frozen vegetable market forecast to be worth 937 million pounds sterling by then. Manufacturers will have to be aware of eating trends and cater for the increasing number of people who live alone if they want this growth to continue. Value growth is most likely to be in new products such as exotic vegetables and different potato products.
