Gamesa and Iberdrola will build wind farms across Europe, U.S

Article Abstract:

New wind power farms are coming to the United States, Mexico and the European Union through an agreement between Gamesa Energia S.A. of Spain and Iberdrola S.A. also of Spain. The deal is valued at 3 billion Euros ($3.82 billion) with wind turbines from Gamesa Energia S.A. supplying new wind synergies through Iberdrola S.A.

Regulators may hold sway over Endesa as E.On raises bid

Faced with the possibility of rival bids, German utility E.ON AG has raised its offer for Spanish electric utility Endesa S.A. to $56.41 billion. However, Spain is reviewing its takeover regulations; the new laws, expected to be approved shortly, could have an impact on the offer.

Iberdrola IPO: green and 'green' test

Article Abstract:

Spain's Iberdrola S.A. announced an initial public offering for its clean-energy business unit totaling 20%. The preliminary value is set between $32.2 bil to $43.4 bil, the biggest stock market debut of green energy ever. Shares are to be set at $7.77 to $10.26.
