German prosecutors expand probe of telekom accounting

Prosecutors are expanding their investigation into the accounting practices of Deutsche Telekom AG. Investigators are looking at a 15 billion mark (Euro7.67 billion) write-down the firm took on its telephone network before its 1996 IPO.
