More pulley power

Article Abstract:

Interroll Corp has developed a heavy-duty motorized pulley for baggage/freight handling belt conveyors. The equipment, called the High Output Powerroll, is designed to drive fully loaded belt conveyors at speeds ranging from 9.45 to 131 m/min. It has a horsepower range from 0.25 to 0.45hp and comes i 18 standard lengths ranging from 300 to 1,112mm. The product is suitable for powering conveyor belts for heavy loads in confined operating areas.

Handling new products in Atlanta

Article Abstract:

Faudi Aviation's new filter element has received approval from the Institute of Petroleum in Jan 2000. The Monitor Filter element, which measures 6 in, is aimed at replacing existing filter water separator elements on refuelling vehicles and can be fitted in all existing filter vessels of any design. The product makes sure that the fuel entering the aircraft is of high quality. It absorbs excess water in the fuel and stop the flow immediately.

Advanced commuter cab to suit all aircraft types

Article Abstract:

US-based Advanced Bridge Systems is building the Commuter Cab which is designed to be fitted to new bridges as well as retroffited to existing units. The Cab can service aircraft with sizes ranging fromsmall commuter types to large widebody aircraft. The equipment has a side shifting system that can move up to 20 inches in either direction from the center which allows for docking the bridge to a small prop driven aircraft.
