Hermes sales climb despite terror effects

Hermes International S.A. posted an increase of 14% in its sales for the 2001 third-quarter. The company, notwithstanding the effects of the September 2001 attacks in the US, posted 308.4 million euros in sales for the quarter.

Hermes net profit surges as sales grow strongly

Groupe Hermes posted an increase of 33% in its net profits for the 1999 year. The company, helped by strong sales, posted 780 million French francs (118.9 million euros) in net profits for the year.
