Finland-based Patria Vammas Oy has gotten an order for six PSB 5500H units from Detroit Metropolitan Airport. The transaction with the manufacturer of airside snow removal equipment will bring the number of PSBs operating in North America to 22 units at the airports of Toronto, Canada, Detroit Metropolitan, Boston-Logan and Chicago-O'Hare. The product is a combination of blower, sweeper and snowplough. It is designed to clear runways and taxiways as fast as 60 km/hr.

Dukes Transportation Services has introduced the Skycart, a towable/self- propelled hydrant system servicer rated at 3,028 liters/min. The equipment incorporates a hydraulic-control system with an electric deadman switch to eliminate the need for an air-operated system. It is either powered by electric motor with a solar panel recharging system or fitted with an internal combustion engine.
