Holder hesitates on Lycos-USA deal

Article Abstract:

CMGI Inc. announced that it would not support the proposed merger of Lycos Inc. with USA Networks Inc.'s operations until Lycos's shares recovered their predeal prices. CMGI is the largest stockholder in Lycos with a 20% share. Some of the stockholders believe that the deal might have to be renegotiated or even terminated. CMGI's position left the deal in doubt.
