Article Abstract:

Media investors like News Corp., Turner Broadcasting System Inc. and Capital Cities/ABC are hopeful that the broadcasting bill, which imposes excessive controls on the broadcasting industry, will be amended before it is voted upon by Parliament later in 1997.
