Identity versus culture in mergers of equals

Article Abstract:

Organizational identity as an influential factor in determining the extent of the difficulty faced by firms in the integration process is examined. In addition, a distinction between organizational identity and culture, identifying the role that each plays in influencing integration and other outcomes in mergers and acquisitions are presented.

The reputation index: measuring and managing corporate reputation

The creation of a 'reputation index' that would be of broad scope and attempt to capture the key dimensions and evaluate diverse organizational components including corporate strategy, financial strength and viability, organizational culture, ethics and integrity and strategic alliances and business partnering is described.
