Sweden's 11% devaluation of the krona has led to competitive pressures within the exchange-rate mechanism and the devaluation of currencies in Spain, Portugal, France, Ireland and Denmark. Comparisons of exchange rates with purchasing-power parities are analyzed.

In search of inefficiency
Article Abstract:
Recent studies indicate that foreign exchange markets are not as efficient as they can be. Trader idiosyncracies such as avoiding rates which end in round numbers, may effect market activity. Ways to make these markets more efficient are analyzed.
