InBev's earnings surge, led by emerging markets

InBev S.A. of Belgium posted stellar fourth quarter net profit to 371 million Euros ($491 million) from 165 million Euros last year. Strong revenues are partly due to increased sales in emerging markets including Russia and Brazil. InBev S.A. is the largest brewer worldwide.

InBev's net profit rises 22% on growth in Latin America

Article Abstract:

InBev S.A. of Belgium posted a soaring 22 percent increase in second-quarter net income to 394 million Euros ($505.4 million) from 323 million Euros last year. Revenues were driven by increased sales growth in Latin America and cost restructuring in Western Europe.
