Independent thinking: classic hits have been replaced by an indie vibe as the soundtrack of choice for TV ads

Article Abstract:

Television advertising is using more indie music on their soundtrack as a way to stay relevant and because the ads have become another way for fans to find music outside record stores. Using indie acts, however, does not guarantee success unlike using a famous song which could brings instant recognition from the audience.
