Industrial character

Article Abstract:

The Henry Moore Sculpture Trust has been involved in a range of challenging projects designed to investigate the links between art and architecture. It has established the Henry Moore Studio at Dean Clough Business, Arts and Education Centre in Halifax, England. This facility gives artists the opportunity to work on a scale that could not easily be undertaken in other locations. Work has also been produced at the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds, England, and in other buildings for which the trust negotiated use. In summer 1998, it linked with the Tate Gallery to produce the large-scale exhibition 'artranspennine98.'
