Interactive fuzzy programming for multi-level 0-1 programming problems through genetic algorithms

Article Abstract:

Interactive fuzzy programming has been offered as a solution to multi-level 0-1 programming problems via genetic algorithms. The proposed solution is applicable in instances where decision-making from upper to lower levels is sequential and where the decision makers are basically cooperative. After the fuzzy goals of the decision makers are determined, a satisfactory can be efficiently derived by updating the decision makers' minimal satisfactory levels by considering overall satisfactory balance.

Reference direction interactive method for solving multiobjective fuzzy programming problems

Article Abstract:

A novel approach in solving multiobjective fuzzy programming problems is seen in the reference direction interactive method which combines the reference direction approach developed by Korhonen and Laakso and interactive satisficing method of Sakawa and Yano. The method is applicable to both nonsymmetric linear and nonlinear mathematical models owing to the use of the problem's objective as the fuzzy objective which can be manipulated by the model through the reference direction approach.
