Internationalisation on service companies

Article Abstract:

The internationalization of service firms is evident considering that 30% of world trade involves different services. A conceptual model has been provided so that officials and employees in the service industry can practice self-evaluation with respect to internationalization. Service companies should also establish a delicate mixture of entrepreneurial vision and organized planning as well as a combination of international service doctrines and domestic applications.

Key concepts for new service development

Article Abstract:

A model of new service development for service firms is discussed. It is argued that the development and provision of high-quality and cost-effective services are integral to the success of service firms. It is shown that service is created within a customer process wherein the company, customers and suppliers are actors. These actors brings their own set of prerequisites which must be considered in the service development process.
