Investors wary even as yen weathers rating downgrades

Article Abstract:

The yen has strengthened against the dollar even though two credit ratings agencies have given downgrades to the Japanese currency. If the credit ratings drop to single-A, the yen would probably weaken and foreign investors would pull out of Japanese government bonds. However, that scenario is unlikely to happen soon.

Japan; mobile-phone distributor races to invest in Web start-ups
