Ireland's mussel dredging trio - Dutch yard delivers Hibernia

Hebernia, Rona and Wings of the Morning are three new dredgers that are being added to Ireland's mussel fleet. Maaskant Bruinisse BV, the Dutch shipyard has delivered Hibernia to the Ireland based Riverbank Mussels Ltd. The salient features of the fishing vessel are described. The equipments installed on the dredger are also described. The design of the vessel is outlined.

Mussel boat heads for Germany

Article Abstract:

Royal Frisk (Hoo-70), a mussel dredger designed for shallow water that operates with a mussel capacity of 175 tonnes in two folds, is prepared for the owners in Germany. Royal Frisk's aft section is fully enclosed to provide additional accommodation space and special efforts are made to minimize noise levels in the accommodation and wheelhouse.
