KPN and NTT Unit Negotiate to Link Mobile Operations

NTT DoCoMo Inc., the mobile telephone unit of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp., is negotiating a 10% or more stake in the Dutch telecommunications company KPN Mobile NV. The strategic alliance would pursue wireless opportunities across Europe.

KPN to sell 15% stake in unit to NTT DoCoMo

Vodafone Will Extend Reach With Buying Spree

United Kingdom's Vodafone Group PLC will acquire a 15% stake in Japan Telecom for over 2.47 billion in Euro dollars from West Japan Railway Co. and Central Japan Railway Co. Vodafone also will acquire Eircell from Eircom PLC.
