Turkey prepares to sell 20% stake in Turk Telekom

Turkey is preparing to sell off a minority share of Turk Telekom AS, a state-owned telephone monopoly. Turkey will sell 20% of Turk Telekom in a privatization that could raise $2.3 billion (2.44 billion euros).

Dutch government falls short in license auction. (mobile telephone services licenses)

Netherlands government grants mobile telephone services licenses to two of the country's largest operators and smaller licenses to two other companies. The proceeds from the frequency auction was less than the government expected.
