Carousel is a 15 metre kit-built groundfish pair trawler. It is built by UK based Harris and Garrod Limited for its three directors, Richard Harris, Roger Garrod and Mike Thompson. A brief description of the trawler and the equipments and supplies installed thereon is presented.

Weisse Bank (SD-19), a 300 hp beamer-shrimper built at the Scheepswerf Welgelegen yard at Lauwersoog, is delivered to the German owner Stephan Kock. The developement of SD-19, whose design is provided by Scheepsbouwkundig Bureau Kernand Jansen, reveals the demand for shrimpers.
