Kramer's life in logos

Article Abstract:

Burton Kramer, founder of Kramer Design Assoc Ltd, says his job is about getting a brand to stand out in a crowd. Kramer established the Toronto graphics design firm in 1967 after working in New York and Zurich. He was the designer of the logos of Canadian Broadcasting Corp, North American Life and the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. He is a graduate of Yale University, a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts and a fellow of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada.

Stellick goes solo with own company

Article Abstract:

Bob Stellick has started a new marketing communications agency called Stellick Marketing Communications Inc. The month-old agency, which started operations in Mar 2000, will specialize in sports marketing and communications. The shop is promoting the National Football League in Canada, doing communications work for the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, Ontario, and media awareness work with the coaching staff of the Toronto Blue Jays baseball club.

Back pill gets co-branding support

Article Abstract:

Obus Forme Ltd, based in Toronto, Canada, is partnering with Wampole Canada Inc, also of Toronto, to promote its first oral muscle relaxant for reducing back pain. The non prescription drug is aimed at the country's C$20-million back relaxant market. According to Orlanda Fitzgerald, marketing and public relations manager at Obus, the team-up is part of the trend to build on the strengths of established firms, such as Wampole.
